Rinnai Australia ran a winter cashback promotion on its air conditioning range, "Warm your winter with Rinnai Air", rewarding customers with up to $500 cashback after purchase. The goal was simple: make it easy for customers to claim, and give Rinnai's team full control of the promotion behind the scenes.

Our Role

KO worked directly with Rinnai Australia to design and deliver a seamless online claim experience. The cashback amount varied by the product purchased, and rewards were fulfilled instantly once a claim was approved via Digital Mastercard. Receipt OCR, SMS 2FA and KO's standard fraud prevention checks kept every claim compliant.

Rinnai's team had live reporting on the total value of claims, so they could track spend against budget at any time.

Results & Impact

The promotion gave customers a quick, easy way to redeem their cashback, and gave Rinnai everything it needed to manage the promotion and its budget with confidence.
